Everywhere we go...people want to know...who we are...so, we tell them... We have many things to thank our Union for. A very long list of things to be sure, but first and foremost we have the Union to thank for introducing us to each other. Both of us had been members of HTC Local 6 for years before each of us were asked to join the Union staff in the late 2000's. If you ask Randy, he will tell you that the first time his eyes met Juana's he thought to himself that she was the most beautiful person that he had ever seen. He was especially happy to find out that she has the same weird sense of humor as he does. A pretty face that knows how to make him laugh is a mic drop in his book. If you ask Juana, she will tell you that the first time she met Randy she could see he had a big heart with a lot of love to give. She'll tell you that her first impression of Randy was watching him representing workers to management as the workers Union Business Agent. She later learned that although he was tough and firm with management, in reality, he is a very sweet soft hearted guy. She named him her "Lion" for the tough way he represents workers. In truth though, she knows he is really her "Lion Cub". Our first date was at a winery in upstate New York overlooking Cayuga Lake. It was there that we shared our first kiss. There was snow on the ground outside. There was wine in our glasses, and a fire in the fireplace. We knew right then and there that we had found the other half of each of our hearts. Not long after, Randy took Juana home to meet his family and friends in his hometown of Cincinnati Ohio. On that trip, Juana did what she does best...she charmed the pants off of everyone. She made herself right at home with friends and family. She became a Cornhole champion and even became a Bengals fan!!! Who Dey! Shortly after that, she was brave enough to introduce Randy to her family and friends in the Dominican Republic. While he cannot claim to be as charming as she is, he immediately fell in love with her loved ones back home in DR. He was amazed by the beauty of the country itself and the people who call it home. If you ask him, he will tell you that the most memorable part of the trip, was getting to meet Juana's beautiful mother for the first time. Since the beginning, we have shared lots of stories, taken lots of trips, seen many beautiful places, met many new friends and built a list of adventures to make our story what it is today On April 13, 2024 at exactly 7:05pm, on the steps of Most Precious Blood Church in Astoria, Randy got down on one knee and asked Juana to be his bride. To his overwhelming delight, she said yes. It was in that moment that our story really begins... Juana &amp; Randy

Stephanie is Juana's youngest daughter and the girlfriend of Joel Minaya, who is a true man for others.  Stephanie gives everyone her heart one thousand percent.  She is a very dedicated school teacher who loves her students dearly.  She is also no nonsense Judoka yellow belt, and the mother of her fur babies Sailor, and two kittens Digits and Donald.

Christie is Juana's oldest child and the beautiful mother of Avry Koda, the cutest and best Ring Bearer on planet Earth.  Christie is known for her no nonsense attitude and her flawless hair dressing skills.  She is also known to rock any dance floor she is on.  She is the mother to Jasmin and Princess, two of the cutest pups you'll ever meet.

Kyle is Randy's wonderful sister and one of Juana's best friends.  She is also who Juana calls for all sorts of nursing advice.  Kyle is the wife of Sean Cobb and the mother of Bridesmaid Charlotte and Flower Girl Cecilia. Kyle has many talents and loves to share them along with her unwavering heart.

Kotone is Juana's only daughter in law.  She married Christian Velez in February of 2024.  Kotone is a huge fan of New York fashion and New York pizza.  On her first trip to the U.S.A, she ate nothing but pizza for three days.  She loves dancing, traveling and sharing laughs with friends. Tequila drinks are her favorite dance party starter...FYI.

Charlotte Cobb is Randy's niece and his wonderful Goddaughter.  Charlotte is one of the most sincere people this world has ever known.  A young lady who knows what it means early in life to give 110% to everything she does.  Charlotte is an excellent soccer player and like her sister Cecilia, she is a cheerleader for the St. Ignatius Wildcats!  She also makes Juana and Randy proud by being a straight A student!

Joe...Jose...D.J...has earned many names and many titles over the years.   Joe is Randy's oldest longtime friend, dating all the way back to second grade.  Joe and Randy have gotten into all kinds of fun and mischief over the years which have only helped strengthen their friendship.  Joe loves rebuilding cars and trucks among other hobbies.  His girlfriend Jenny is the perfect compliment to Joe.  If you haven't met her yet, you should.

Nick Peters is a good man.  Nick is Randy's cousin and one of the funniest and smartest people you could ever ask to meet.  Randy and Nick have shared a bond like brothers from a very young age.  Nick is a fan of small dogs, tough puzzles, Ohio State football, UC basketball and the Cincinnati Bengals...when they aren't pissing him off.

Sean is Randy's brother in law and the husband of Kyle Cobb and the father of Charlotte and Cecilia Cobb.  Sean and Kyle started dating all the way back in grade school and Sean has been one of the cornerstones of the Sullivan family ever since.  Sean is a world renown grills man and can BBQ and smoke any meats to perfection.  Just one of the many reasons we are happy to call him family.

Billy is Juana and Randy's friend and coworker at the Union.  Billy and Randy go all the way back to the days they worked together at Morgans hotel. Working at the Union, Billy  is a staunch fighter for his members rights.  He is a die hard New York Yankees fan and loves everything about the game of baseball.  His girlfriend Gaby is also a close personal friend of Juana and Randy and is just a beautiful person herself.

Christian is Juana's second oldest child and her eldest son.  He married his beautiful wife Kotone in February 2024 in Tokyo.  Christian is a teacher of English in Japan where he has lived and studied since 2021. He loves dancing bachata and trying various cultural cuisines from around the world.

Steven is Juana's youngest son and a man of many talents.  A dedicated Mets and Jets fan who knows what it means to be loyal to your team.  Steven loves watching all kinds of sports and he, himself is an excellent bowler and corn hole player.  He is also trained in Judo, so make sure you stay on his good side.

Cecilia is Randy's niece and one of the funniest and most loving young ladies in this world.  Spending just one minute with Cecilia will lift anyone's spirts with her automatic ray of sunshine.  Cecilia is a fantastic gymnast and loves to show off her many gymnastics skills.  She and her sister Charlotte can be seen cheerleading for her St. Ignatius Wildcats at every game.  She also gives the best hugs in the world.

Avry Koda is Juana's only grandson and the cutest Ring Bearer on the planet!  He is Christie's first child and he already can sit up straight and says his first word (Mama).  He loves playing the drums, learning to walk, bath time and mommy time.
